Following many delays, Saturday saw the Bowers CoveredBridge get one step closer to re-opening to motor vehicle traffic.  The Miller Construction crane arrived Fridayset the I-beams and cables and do a test lift. The neighbors gathered forBrownsville General Coffee and donuts in the Ouelette’s side yard on Saturdaymorning and the move from the reconstruction area to the bridge abutments wentsmoothly.

A dedication ceremony is slated for the evening of July 28 at the bridge. It should be quite a town celebration.
